His trainer made the claims that they are done with pursuing another shot at Pavlik. Sergio Martinez how has some options and probably won't be in a hurry to fight Williams, since there's no guarantee that he won't get screwed again by some judges in a rematch. PW can try 147 again, like his trainer said he would, but he still won't get any of the big fights, because he is not a draw. Good luck PW.:hi:

Cintron won't fight him. Dzindziruk is pretty much his best option now.

I think Paul Williams will be back down at 147.

There will be fights for him, he probably just has to
wait till after Mosely/Berto and also seek Cotto and
Clottey out - as wins over both would be a boast for
him, then he can pursue Mosely or the Pac/Floyd loser.

He just needs to stick to a division, whether it be 147 or
154, he needs to stay in one division and own it.

Do what Moselys doing and just collecting belts and then
fighters will have to fight him.

Any "done with Pavlik" talk should be taken with a grain of salt. I'm sure they're frustrated as hell with him, a shot at the MW title would surely mean a lot to him. The Dz fight seems a good option.

(And what do you mean left out in the cold "now"? he's been left out there for a couple of years.)

****in' hater! You know that he's an HBO fighter? You think his career goes down the tubes after the fight of his life? He didn't lose, any way you look at it. This only makes him more marketable. He has more fans after the fight than he did before.

Ya, nothing left for Paul after that....:-(

I actually think that it could well be easier for PW to get big fights now. Certain vulnerabilities were exposed against Martinez and that may encourage potential opponents.

Paul williams needs to go back down to welter weight, he is a knockout waiting to happen; just think if it were 8 ounce gloves he would have been gone. I am not a hater , but Paul williams is overrated, and has no market value. I am sure that Williams will be able to get fights at welter with out much problem, with his poor showing against a b+ class fighter in sergio martinez who only has a 50% k.o rate, who rocked Williams repeatedly. Martinez hasn't beat anybody noteworthy, and neither has Paul. Mosley KOs Paul. Floyd has his way with olive-oil, Berto dominates him, Pac's not a counter puncher, and his style is all wrong for Pac, but if he hits him enough Pac KO's him.

Not because Pavlik pulled out of the fight twice?
