Fresh from everyone's favorite journalist's chat...

Josh (San Antonio, TX): What do you make of Paul Williams' bout at middleweight, followed by a welterweight defense? Is he just waiting for Margarito?

Dan Rafael: (12:23 PM ET ) I do not think Paul ever fights at welter again. I'll give you a little scoop from today's notebook. The plan to return to welter after the middleweight fight is not in stone. His camp is talking to Verno Phillips about Paul challenging Verno for his 154 belt in November on HBO and HBO will approve the fight. I think Paul will never again fight at welter.

    ------------------------

    Thoughts?

This is a good move for Paul. The biggest fight in this division is ducking so he should go elsewhere. He could run this division too!!:boxing1

They could still fight each other at 154.

Williams beat Margarito. One of the easiest fights to score I have ever seen. The judges had an easy job that night. Williams will beat Margarito again also.

I don't know about this, there are good money fights for him at 147 and he is rank top 3 I believe, so why abandon 147 when he is already established as a top contender. But then again is Dan Rafael
