If you were Paul Williams handler...who would you put him in there with next?

    Paulie at 147? jk

but I think he should fight a contender and 154 to get back in the mix. A person with a lot of hype behind them

    Mosley..

Winner would be right in the mix for landing a marquee fight.

154 right? A rematch with Margarito would be a good comeback fight.

Then Lara, Saul, Chavez Jr, Cotto...yea thats it

Williams needs a confidence rebuilder. If he can still make 147 he should go back to there or settle in at 154. I admire Williams for bouncing between divisions, but I think it has hurt him by not staying in one division and collecting the belts so that the other top fighters have to fight him.

I say put him in against Mayorga or Baldomir.

Peter Manfredo Jr. or someone like David Estrada,

  9. Would be kind of a smart move and you know K9 takes the fight.

I'd let the guy go for a few months, then put him in against a soft touch. You don't want to rush these things right now with him. If you have to put him in there with at least a semi-name I guess a Vanda type would be the way to go.

That's the last thing I would do. I always thought, even though evidently Shane didn't, that Paul would be perfect for him. He's exactly what Shane thrives off of. No defensive ring IQ, chin out, ready to throw every second of the fight. Shane would eat Williams alive, especially coming off of a harsh kayo loss. Paul is everything Mora and Mayweather are not and he'd look like he was 27-years-old again against him. Because it wouldn't go late.

I'd like to see him put a brutal beating on Cotto at 154.

Perhaps this could be a facsimile of the Mosley-Margarito fight, (which would instantly propel Mosley as a deserving candidate to face Pacquiao.)

I however am not sold on such a conclusion..

I envision PTP landing lots of punches against the exchange friendly Mosley.

He may very well land lots of punches. For as long as it lasts. :hey
