Team HBO did everything they could to convince us that the Punisher was winning the fight against Sergio Martinez. Emanuel Steward is an old clueless cheerleader. Martinez clearly outclassed the soft hitting sloppy "Most Feared Man in Boxing". Martinez landed massive shots and made Paul look like a flailing amateur. It is a shame the Martinez has now been robbed on two occasions that could have given his career a major boost. Paul Williams will get knocked out against Pavlik, Mosley, Mayweather or even Pacman. He is simply a tall highly active fighter, nothing more.

HBO did? Lampley, was nut hugging every punch that was landed by Martinez. STFU and stop showing one side of the argument. When you have two great fighters, and it's close fight, it doesn't mean it diminishes the status of one fighter versus the other.

We always knew Williams got hit. He just always took the shots. Martinez is a sharp puncher. He def. did hit Williams with the cleaner harder shots and countered beautiful at times throughout the fight. Quintana also a slick soouthpaw gave Williams problems. Martinez is a level above Quintana. Williams is "feared" based on his size and punch output alone. Not to mention he's shown a great chin in the past. On paper he is the most avoided fighter. You can call him overrated but i still think hes a great fighter. Not sound i every department, makes mistakes. Most fighters do. With all that said. I think Martinez did win the fight and Williams got a gift. But it was a great fight. A war of two elite fighters at their best. Now we will probably see a rematch. :happy I think Pavlik of old would KO Paul, but we have yet to see Pavlik as of late. Mosley, Mayweather and Pac-Man could and should beat Paul. But they would all be good fights. Williams is going to create an exciting fight. I think all of them catch Paul with counters and get rid of him.

I'm not a big fan of PW, but he is not a hype job. A hype job would have stayed down after that 1st round knock down or went down after getting hit with some of those bombs! He did look pretty sloppy, but he gave the WBC champ all he could handle. I had Martinez by two points, but considering the crappy judging that has been going on, it doesn't surprise me Martinez was jobbed, AGAIN.

PW has been over rated and over hyped for a long time. Somehow, due to the level of ******ation among boxing fans, Pavlik's hand issues made the hype grow five fold.

However, the fact that he struggled against a very good fighter does not make PW a hype job. He's a good fighter, and hopefully last nights experience will force him to settle his arrogant ass down, and get to work on his weaknesses.

Lamply was openly cheerleading for Martinez.

On many of the exchanges he would only acknowledge Martinez' landed punches.

PW is a good fighter and has a very decent chin but he is a little overrated. He was probably avoided at 147 because of his size advantage but certainly no one above 147 is scared to fight PW.

Ya man, I don't know. PW showed a hell of alot of heart and going up in weight by 10 lbs facing the #1 at 154. ****, what does a guy gotta do?
When he woops Martinez in the rematch, having learned how to adjust and takes the title at 154, will he still be a hype job?

Having said that, I don't think he beats Mayweather or Mosely
