:rofl What happened in the rematch...People keep bringing up this Quintana fight like its going to hender Paul's future...Yeah, he got beat by Quintana (115-113) but then came back to KO him in 1 round...Now tell me, what has Quintana done since he got his ass sparked? Look at what Paul is doing compared to Quintana! Cant argue facts my dude!:good
If your saying that PTP should call out Calzaghe instead, you should know that he has called him out several times.
The only reason I bring up the Quintana fight is just to illustrate that Williams can be tagged with straight lefts, something that Pacquiao can deliver in dangerous fashion.
It's weird, PW gets credit from people on here for just calling people out. He's got a tough fight in front of him at 160 he needs to focus on that. By the way it's a fight that he couldn't make 154 for, no sense in calling people out at 147.
That is how the game works. "Certain" fighters get the cameras no matter what. "Other" fighters have to make a buzz to get even spoken about. Then they wonder why "other" fighters are always in the media talking crap. Give PW some time. Soon, he will get bitter too.
Thats true but he's since proved he's gotten better with that lost...Not saying you but you've read some of the bull**** that has been said about him! Check this out! See, its people like this who I was really making that post towards...Its good to look at the first Quintana fight because thats the turning point IMO of Paul's career.
Yep. Undoubtedly that fight was a wake-up call for Williams. Without that experience, he likely wouldn't have made improvements, content to do as he had done. I still think Williams is susceptible to getting tagged with counters because I feel he leans in and pushes his punches too much, but he is definitely a better fighter since that.
I agree with you on that part, with the high output, Williams does get hit a lot....Williams has shown to have a good beard, but the question is how long can he keep taking clean shots before it takes its toll on him? Thats the area I want to see him improve on.
Being a Pacfan if I could choose 3 fights for him before he retires, they would be PBF, Mosely and Williams. Now I fancy him to beat PBF. Not a given, not an easy fight, but I think Pac would win. Against Mosley, I would be ****in worried for Pac. Mosely is not only fast but hits ****in hard too. After seeing what he did to Cotto I am more confident in my man but would still be biting my nails. Against Williams, ****, just imagine what a win against this guy could do for Pacs legacy. Can I see him winning?.................. I dont know. Out of the three, I think PBF would be an easier fight than Williams or Mosely.
Paul Williams is so tall, Pacquiao would use his nutsack as a speed bag. As a result, Williams by DQ.
