Really! It's not a big ****in deal if Mexican root for Mexican, Filipinos root for Filipinos or Blacks root for Blacks. Who cares? It's the way boxing has ALWAYS been.

Both have high workrate, good chins, size, and stamina.

Williams is quicker, southpaw, taller, much longer reach, more mobile.

Margarito has better power, doesn't cut and swell nearly as easy, and whines like a ***** when he loses.

    I'll take Williams.

For the record Tony was told that he was winning the fight. I don't blame him for that. He is only echoing what his managers and trainer told him. As well as Arum.

He did say after seeing the replay that he could see where someone would have scored it for Williams.

btw people MArgo may be the top ranked guy at 147 but he is does not have the crown. The one who unifies the division will lay claim to the crown. Right now that means Margo needs to beat at Berto, PW, and Clottey again.

If Margo had at least 2 of the belts then maybe you could make a case for him but he only has 1

He would only have to beat 2 of those 3 to be undisputed right? To be the WW champ he would just have to beat Paul or Clottey and Berto, at least thats how I see

well there is no one rule. Each person has his own standards. Generally speaking I consider the guy with the most belts as the man in the division.

It's a shame he has to fight for that IBF title when it was rightfully his. He should be a unified champ as we speak.

Everyone in that Home Depot knew he needed that 12th round. I don't buy the "he lost the 12th because he thought he was winning" excuse. :-( Why would he think he could give that round away after admitting that he didn't even "get started" until after the 6th round? Think about it. :huh

That was all in hindsight. If you listen to the corner they did not tell him he needed a knockout or a really big round. And when the decision was read the look on his face tells you he felt he was cheated.

I'm not saying he was cheated because I had Williams up too. But when your corner is telling you that you are winning you kinda believe it. Especially when the other guy can't hurt you.

Pharaoh, it was ridiculous that he had to fight the mandatory right after winning the title anyways. You should have one optional defense prior to a mandatory obligation.

thats not how it works. If a fighter wins the title as an optional defense like Margo did against Cintron, then he must still fulfill that title's mandatories in the same time period. It only makes sense. Or else the mandatory challenger might never get his shot.

    Yea I guess so.

Anyways I would have liked to see him as unified which he should have been.
