    I just saw this now. I couldn't be more happy to learn that his spinal cord isn't severed, now there is real hope that he may indeed walk again. Get well champ we're praying for you.

    I mean, Joppy and Pazienza had a fractured in the spine in the neck and was able to fight in his late 30's.

    The doctor didn't rule out Paul walking again. Said the bone was messed up but didn't really know the extent of nerve damage. Still, "not severed" is better than "severed".

    Even if he makes a full recovery it will be a couple of years. One step at a time though.

    Not sure you ever fully recover from something like this and I simply wouldn't want to see him in the ring again after this.
