Paul Williams still in hiding!! MIA!!!

After watching the williams/martinez fight, It is obvious that Paul does not have middle-weight power. He won on points but that fight could have gone either way. He never seriously hurt martinez. Even with the ridiculous amount of punches that he throws " and lands", martinez was never in any serious trouble. Martinez was also teeing off at will with his right hand. Paul showed alot of heart after being knocked down early to come back and out box Sergio in the latter stages of the fight. If Kelly hits paul with some of the clean shots that sergio was able to get off, Paul would be knocked out.
The williams camp would be wise to consider taking paul back down to 147 or even 154 until he can establish a middle weight punch. This is probably the biggest reason for the silence.

 

Paul is not going to establish a middle weight punch. It would take a complete reworking of his style. He doesn't get leverage or 'sit down' on his punches. He has said he would work on that in the past. He is also not a middle weight. He may be some day, but he is not now.

 

Pavlik + PPV = FAIL!!!

All the hicks in hicksville wouldn't coinstar their pennies to watch that bullshyt.

P.W: The way Pavlik pulled out of a fight with me the way he did, twice - that lets me know he ain't got the heart like that , so I think Martinez may pull it out. I want to fight both of 'em, but I'm pulling for Martinez in that fight. I don't really think Pavlik will ever fight me, so I hope Martinez beats him.
