He had that most avoided rep but truth is he ducked plenty of fighters himself. It is a business so whatever but for him to say he fought all comers is crap. Clottey consistently called him out, Dzinziruk did as well. Margarito wanted a rematch to their fight and they said no.

The only people that were "avoiding" him were Cotto and PBF. That was mostly due to them being stars at the moment and him not really being known to anyone.

Paul is a credit to the sport, good to see him in good spirits. A true professional and true warrior with the best attitude I've seen from a fighter. He is one determined dude, if anyone can walk after an accident like his it's someone with his resolve.

Such a shame cause he was gonna whup Canelo and get his career highest payday and be back on top of the world.

I am not like you. I dont just like a fighter because of their race. I feel the Canelo fight is crap but at the same time they did try to face PW and Kirkland and both fell through. You actually used to sit here and say Canelo would never face Kirkland. Well he tried. Then Ortiz who also has a name.

They have been trying to make good fights for him but all fell through so they ended up giving Lopez the fight. I hate that fight because Lopez has been one of my favorites for a while. I feel he can dominate 140. I like Canelo but I will be rooting for the upset.

If anyone should have gotten the Canelo fight it should have been Molina in my opinion. One of the best at 154 and could be the best if given the shot.

I dont think you were following boxing back when those 3 guys were repeatedly calling PW out and he was playing deaf.

u are biased as **** so dont give me that "race" ****. youre just as guilty. dont play dumb. u look @ nationality as race.

please ive been following boxing for almost ten years. fact is, Canelo hasnt fought anyone special in his division yet since winning his title.

hes so desperately trying to avoid REAL JMW competition like Lara, Bundrage and Molina. wonder why? :think

Paul was simply looking for better paydays from the bigger names. similar to how Sergio is doing the same yet avoiding Pirog. bottom line is, they paid their dues and fought solid competition to want to cash out. Canelo hasnt.

clottey was offered the fight and didn't want it.

he fought martinez instead of dzinziruk.

margarito turned down 2million dollars more and instead chose to face mosley. we all know what happened there.

stop talking out of ur ass cabron.

fighting kirkland after he got schooled by molina and has a bad shoulder...not exactly brave.

the only reason they chose williams was because he went the distance with ishida. canelo used to put it on ishida in sparring....so the assumption was they'd be able to do the same to paul. it doesn't work that way.

williams was fighting tougher/better opponents than clottey and dzinziruk. margarito wanted no parts of williams in the rematch.

He is in a serious situantion, let's not compare it with Bradley's ankles but let's face this as well - he himself told Max when he was outlanded, hurt and got a gift against Lara, that he was just in there for two or three more fights such as a rubber match with Martinez... Even with a shot at canelo Alvarez title, PW was not going anywhere either, realize it.

I think he was a bit overrated as a boxer, but I think he's a good guy and hope only the best for him. I doubt he'll ever walk again let alone box again but you never know.

Paul will be in Las Vegas Sept. 15 to watch live either Canelo-Lopez or Martinez-Chavez Jr. fight.
