    thats what I said earlier today. Instead of saying he messed up and startfighting tall with better defense he keeps saying martinez get lucky and will continue in a similair style. this means its a matter of time before he is sleeping with his eyes open again.
    He shouldnt focus on martinez, fix your style and dominate 154 messing up brave welters if they move up.

    If George Peterson might be the worst coach of all time how can you keep telling your fighter it was a lucky. just for being that dumb Martinez can land that punch again and win the fight in 1 rd

    Marinez landed that same punch like 4 other times in the fight. The last one is the one that KO'd him. Didn't Williams and his team review the tapes? !

    Paul Williams is a tough fighter, but he's obviously not a thinking man's fighter. He'll always have the same holes, same deficiencies, and the same flaws. Nothing's going to change. And that's not good for his career.

    a change to manny steward right after the sergio martinez fight woulda been perfect. take about a year off then come back with the new dude in your corner. oh well ill still root for PWILL, how can u not he brings everything he's got.

    That poor dude had the prize of an HBO appearance against a big name like Williams dangled in front of him and then snatched away, after he'd more than earned it by blitzing Kirkland against massive odds.

    to be honest i "kind of" see his point...that style got him to the top. But at the same time...so? to stay at the top you might have to change it up.

    but Williams is my favorite fighter regardless...but he cant box. he tried to early on with Kermit and failed miserably. What's George Peterson's email? so i can tell him how much skill he failed to teach Paul.
