    :patsch

Paul Williams is a very good fighter, but he never was and never will be the fighter to derail the collision course that will be Cotto-Mayweather....the 2 best fighters at the weight. Hat off to Quintana who is skilled and underrated and is a notch below Mayweather....whom I believe would have defeated Williams in a similar Manner. As I said before, Mayweathers only rival is Cotto and even he is an underdog against the best fighter in the world. There goes the neighborhood.

I will openly admit that I was one of those that over-rated Williams. Superb win for Quintana. I'm still unconvinced by Mayweather at 147lbs though.

Ricky isn't. And it's difficult to know how good the DLH win as it was a glorified sparring session and he's a bit past his best - but PBF was fighting even further out of his natural weight class so at the very least it was a very good performance.

I never thought Wiliams would be the man to beat Mayweather. Don't know if cotto is or not. PBF always seems to be able to come up with, and execute, the right fight plan.

I never bought into Williams as a major bigtime fighter, i turned doubtful after i saw him struggle to get rid of Pakau. He looked very ordinary..

I like him, he is extremely skilled but not anywhere as good as many people make out.. He can come again .. i love his spirit..

Oh please, the man struggled like hell against Collazo and clearly can't function at Welterweight. That win did NOTHING for PBF as far as p4p status and legacy are concerned. It meant **** all and only ******s see otherwise.

i know he balloned near 20 pounds. some people were talking about him moving up to 154? if anything, he should move down :nut

he couldn't punch through a paper bag at 154 with those feather dusters. however, i have no idea how much weight draining impacts power. but one has to wonder how will his chin react at a higher weight as much as he gets hit.

Come on ***entless. You can do the research. What would I look like saying some crap like that. I said PW is overrated. I said he is not easy to beat, but Floyd would counter the all **** out of him like Quintana did. His chin just dangles and he is clumsy. His stamina is insane for his size and build though. He is a freak of nature in that aspect.

How do you figure? Did SRL coming out of retirement and moving up to a weight class he didn't belong and didn't really do **** at prior, hinder the career legacy of Marvin Hagler -- and he LOST ...

The win was a good win for Floyd. You can hate the man all you want, but there's no disputing that Ricky Hatton is a quality win. Period.

It's always funny when someone goes on and on about being most avoided and most feared and then they lose.
