Agreed, but Clottey preferd to like to box from a distance as well and isn't really much of an inside fighter. If it goes in close, Williams has the advantage because he's a better inside fighter. If it goes at a distance, Williams has the advantage because of his reach. Either way, Williams has the advantage. Clottey's not a big enough puncher to rock Williams either, IMHO. Clottey's only viable strategy would be to try to do what Quintana did, but I doubt he'd be able to because (a) Williams can defend well against orthodox fighters, (b) that would require Clottey to let his guard down a lot more than he's comfortable with and (c) I don't think he can sustain that kind of workrate with power punches.

You have no credibility at all. Give the man his due. He came back and avenged his loss with a spectacular 1st round KO something your hero Margo would never do.:hi:

So by your logic you should be thoroughly impressed by Williams' win over Margo since he did exactly what you said sweeping the first 6 rounds and wining by UD 8-4.:deal

Um no. Clotteys power is VERY average for a welterweight, especially considering the guy comes in as a light heavy and still cant KO former lightweights with shaky chins.

In what Clottey fight that you've ever watched has he shown ANY of those capabilities? That's like saying Sam Peter might beat Vitali if he stays light on his feet, has good lateral movement and throws 90 punches a round.

Agreed he's just the opposite he doesn't take risks and that's one of the reasons why i think he will lose to Williams.

1-1 against Quintana. Fight him again since Margarito is busy for the next year. :hi:

I agree. Thats the only way I can really see this unfolding. Unless Clottey can find a way to get past that huge reach advantage and get inside and hit PW with some of his hard power shots. This might even be a bad style matchup. Well just wait and see...

Does Carlos even want a rematch?

I agree...Clottley is more of a accurate counter puncher. He's super precise but in order for him to have this kind of sucess his opponent has to help him out a bit. By being less active it gives Clottley the advantage for cutting up his opponent as he did with Zab....with Paul Josh will be trying to breathe since Paul will be non stop on his ass. Clottley is much like Winky in terms of style. where he's hard to hit flush but goes in active somtimes too much which he can't do with Paul.

Margo doesn't. I doubt Carlos does. Cmon Pimp. Margo has to fight a 37 year old and then rematch a guy he already beat. Why would he want to avenge his loss and prove he is the #1 WW? That's stupid logic on your part C, I expect more out of you.

You dumb-ass margo fans are too much...

There wasn't a single lucky punch in that QuintanaII fight. He hit that fool wit a three-piece that was there the entire first fight, and would have been there that round, the next, and the next. If he hadn't caught him then he would have caught him in any of the eary rounds...

And I like how you guys judge Paul by the worst fight of his career, but you judge Margarito on what he showed in his best fight.
