Paul Williams victory vs Hands Of Plaster Antonio Margacheato....

yep that was back when most saw paul williams as a avoided beast, this is overlooked because people focus to much on his loss to sergio and view it as him being exposed or something, which is bull****. Paul was always a ko waiting to happen because of his style but at the same time a very tough fight for anyone.
You can argue he won the first fight with sergio (I had it a draw) given how sergio is viewed nowadays thats pretty good eventhough he was a big favourite going in the fight.

 

Paul Williams isnt prime anymore. He's shot. His fights now are not indicative of how good he was in 2006-2009.

 

Because HBO wanted to make Margarito out to be this monster. After Mosley beat him they were on his dick. They love Manny too so anything he does they hype. Think about how Lampley acted when Manny fought Clottey. Clottey barely threw a punch all fight.

 

Williams didn't "beat margarito down". He won but it was far from a beat down. I'd go as far as saying that Williams didn't trouble Antonio hurt wise but Marg did trouble him.

 

I had Margo winning that fight 6-5-1. All I saw from P. Willy was miss after miss.

me too, williams starting well, margarito's pressure getting to him later on but he already had enough rounds to win.

 

The fight was close with Margarito's usually slow start and Williams fading a bit towards the end.

There was NO beatdown!

 

Prime Williams is something to be worried about for most fighters. I believe he seriously would have given Mayweather fits at least and have been in a brutal war with Pacquiao.

Another great victory of Paul Williams was when he beat Winky Wright. No many people paid their attention to this big win of his. Paul Williams is not so consistent though.

 

Unfortunately that victory gets no praise Cause Winky was way past it and inactive .
