Canelo was young still, barely coming into his own and Williams had a high workrate which would have given Canelo problems imo. Very tragic what happened to Paul Williams, I was hyped to see that fight.
When the fight was mentioned I was a little surprised that Canelo's team were willing to take the Williams fight. But after that Canelo has proven to be willing to fight anyone. No douby Williams work rate would have troubled young Canelo.
