Paul Williams vs. Carlos Quintana

I just voted Quintana. I believe that the styles tend to make this close. Williams is getting more credit for power, yet Quintana might have better power than most think. While Williams has Volume? Quintana has accuracy and is BUSY enough to win rounds. His slick defense makes it very difficult to land cleanly, especially to the head. I think Quintana will pull a close decision.

Admittedly Williams is the favorite and SHOULD WIN UD:yep I'm a Paul Williams fan as well. I've been repping and picking BOTH men for some time now. I picked Williams over Margarito and Quintana OVER Cotto
Williams is a physical specimen with all the tools, whats not to like?

No matter who wins, they are the #3 WW after PBF and Cotto. I wont be disappointed either way.:nono

Christ I wish Williams would follow through with his punches.....I bet Mallingnaggi and Williams could fight a 30 rounder... and come away with no bumps, cuts, or bruises....

 

Quintana struggled with Cotto's limited, methodical aggression. And some of you think he's gonna beat a middleweight who throws 100 punches a round?

Cotto has proven he can BOX:yep The methodical theory was disproven:good BTW? i used that same logic in picking Quintan in that fight.
CQ was only behind 1 point on the cards when he quit on his stool. FROM THE BODY WORK.

Williams doesnt have Cotto's power, in fact Quintana has equal or better power than Williams. Williams is a BOXER Foremost and thats what he should be.
