Yup we just got to wait and see how Cotto rebounds like Lance said...But i think Cotto is going to have to fight a few tune-up fight to get his confidence back up....Cotto never really fought anyone except Mosley but that was a close match againts a veteran in decline...

Like i said earlier....will Cotto retire?

Seriously, I think Paul's two consecutive 1st round KO's have made a lot of people appreciate his KO ability much more than before. I wouldn't be so sure that Williams would stop Cotto. Remember that Cotto already fought a fighter with similar high punch volume and KO power in Margo, and landed many hard blows to the FREAK'S head.
Though Margo walked through them, those kind of punches could hurt Williams. This fight seems very difficult to predict, but if Cotto isn't mentally destroyed after the Margo bout, I'd favor him slightly for the win.

It's tough to say really, my perception of both fighters has changed recently. Cotto now seems not to be that much of a dreaded puncher, while Paul seems to be improving his punching technique and is now sitting on his punches really adding some leverage. But if Cotto isn't done after his war with Margo I would slightly favor him in a decision.

That's how I feel, too. Plus, unlike Margo, PW starts off pretty fast. While both fighters are relentless in their approach, PW starting in on him early would be something to see...I wonder how he'd handle the pressure. With that said, I still think that Cotto is good enough to win, though I picked Williams via knock out. And for the record, Margo aint scared of Williams, he's scared of getting beat by him again and losing his potential future maketability. He really needs paul more than Paul needs him, IMO.

I don't think/ I hope that Cotto's will is broken. He lost a fight to a good fighter IMO. And he wasn't really dominated, just worn down. After that classic, all he needs to do is just refine a few things...conditioning, the abilty to fight going backward, and body punching.

Did everybody forget about Ricardo Torres rocking the hell out cotto? What about Demarcus Corley hurt him also? True Cotto's defense has improved but Williams is way too strong. It say williams by KO.

You hope Cotto's will is broken or is that a typo? I hope he regroups himself well and come back a better fighter.

    I think he meant to say "I don't think Cotto's will is broken-or-I hope Cotto's will isn't broken" ;)

If he had to make 107 pounds, I bet Ivan Calderon would be able to hurt him too. That fight was at 140, not 147 and Cotto said many times he had difficulties making 140.
And what do you mean "Williams is too strong"? You claim a guy with 26 KOs in 32 wins is "weak"?

PS: Williams was also hurt in the fight with Margo, but he managed to win. So unless someone gets knocked out, "getting hurt" doesn't mean much to me. Oh, and don't think Torres is some feather fisted fighter. The guy is a big puncher at 140.

That's not the way it goes IMO. This sounds like "Frazier beat Ali, Ali beat Foreman, so Frazier beats Foreman". Maybe I'm wrong, but I bet you didn't expect Quintana to beat Paul in the first fight, now, did you? And Quintana is obvioulsy weaker, less talented and less durable than Cotto.

    You damn Margo hater :D

Seriously though, Williams and Margo aren't the same fighter.
