I'll take Tito by ko no matter what weight they fight at. Williams isn't going to move and stay behind his jab all night. He isn't a defensive genius either. Sooner or later Tito is going to walk him down, punish him to the body and eventually stop him. I'm starting to like Williams more and more but he hasn't shown me enough to make me think he can beat a peak Trinidad.
At 147 - 154 lbs Tito by late round stoppage. At 160 - 168 pounds its a toss up but if its a prime Tito then I'll go with him to win a decision at least at 160 lbs, at 168 lbs maybe Williams can win. All we know is that a prime Tito fought between 140 and 154 lbs, when he went up to 160 lbs and higher he didnt do so well.
**** man - you joined about the same time as me and have posted almost exactly the same amount as me :hat
Everyone going for Felix. I'll go for Williams. His relentless style would be bad for anyone, let alone a limited slugger like Trinidad
I think Trinidad is terribly overrated...... he lost to the three best guys he faced - DLH, Hopkins and Wright - but at this stage I would lean in his favour. Williams, whilst doing most things right, only has wins over a sloppy Margarito, a blowout over Quintana (who stood him on his head 1st time round) and an old, inactive Wright - albeit dominant. This could change..... ask me in 2/3 years.
A Prime trinidad destroyed cast iron chins, williams would take too many flush shots to make it to the finish line
Tito kayos Williams, breaks his jaw & the Paul the Punisher goes the way of David Reid, Obba Carr, Yori Boy Campas, Fernando Vargas etc.......... & is never the same fighter again:scaredas:
