I dunno... TP could concievably last the disatce, but he gets busted up pretty bad in the process. At 154, or 160 Williams might win, but he aint beating Ike at 147.
As flawed as Williams is, it is hard to beat a guy who averages 100 punches per round. It's not as if Quartey was brilliant defensively either.
12rds, Williams by Decison. IMO, Ike lacked the power it would take to win against PWill. See this going the distance with Willy's work once again getting him a tight victory. Ohhhh @ WW...hmmmmmm I'll stick with PWill.
This would be a really close fight. Williams has a much higher workrate and steps it up late while Quartey has stamina issues. Thing is Williams has defensive issues and id see him eating alot of jabs even with the height advantage and he would be countered to death with right hands but he takes a great shot. It would be one of these deals where you either like Williams high punch output or Ike Quartey's clean and more effective punching. Damn I miss Bazooka.
Quartey was a great fighter but also slapped with his punches alot and he had stamina problems late in fights. He could also be hurt. I think Quartey man handles him early but Williams pressure tires him out and he wins a close decision.
could go either way but slight edge to williams due to williams's punch output. and quartey wasnt a volume punch himself. williams would likely out work him
