i don't buy it.

to me, actions speak louder than words. If he can make it, lets see him make it. Just saying "none of the big names will fight him" is just talk.

 

Not at 147, you mean at a catchweight.... Do you really think that if PW can make 147 without problems then you think that Pac will fight him at that weight???

You buy what you want to buy. he has been trying to get Shane to fight him at 147 forever. And Shane wants none of it. Unless you've been living under a rock, or choose to ignore what is common knowledge around here you would realize PW has been trying to fight Shane.


Also, Paul weighed 157 for a 160-pound fight. He simply couldn't keep that much weight on him. He had to eat like a pig to keep that much wieght on him while he was training. If he just eats normal, just a little less, then he makes 147 easily. His last fight at 147 just last year, he weighed in at 145.

 

I agree. Pac will not move up and fight anyone at their true weight. But like I said, Paul was 145 for weigh-in of the Quintana fight.

 

he was closer to 146 than 145 and also that was more than 14 months ago.

I remember against Quinatana he came into the ring at 164 lbs

 

What kind of question is this? One of Paul's arms is taller than Manny. He might as well fight a Klitschko while he's at it.

That he can't make 147? He makes it easily. And if any of the big name WW give him a shot, he'll prove it. Until they do, how the hell can you say he is the one that needs to speak with actions rather than words. He is the one trying to make these fghts at 147...

 

looking at his weights on BoxRec i can see that PW has weighed in twice more often as a MW than as a WW

You still haven't answered the point I made about Shane. You say he should prove he can make 147 with actions, yet no one there worth a **** will fight him.

I'm pretty sure Clottey has called him out and would fight him at 147. Clottey is definately worth a ****.

anyways, I see no point arguing. The only thing that will prove me wrong is if he fights at 147. You can think whatever you want. And i'm not saying this to discredit PW anyways. I like this guy i think he's a real good fighter and a treat to watch.
