Who wins this scintillating match up between 2 action fighters that throw lots of punches in odd angles? Williams was probably a bit quicker and with better height and reach while Maidana was the stronger, heavier handed puncher. Would Williams be able to outpunch Maidana in the same manner like Margarito or would Maidana be able to bull rush and outwork Williams?
Williams would outspeed, outreach and outwork Maidana. He's a bigger better version of Khan in many respects. Sure he'd lose to elite technicians but Maidana isn't in that bracket. Maidana is kind of the Margarito of his era and Williams delt with Margarito who was probably wearing concrete wraps
Bad fight for maidana. I think he goes out shooting but succumbs to unrelenting punching from a giant southpaw.
