The big porblem i see for Cotto here is that when Cotto gets set to punch Williams takes one step back and is out of range.

Funny that people think Cotto's bodypunches should wear Willams down when Magarito is as good bodypuncher as Cotto is, and didnt have anything on Williams? Williams workrate and reach will give anyone big trouble.

Cotto is all wrong for Paul, he'll maul him to the body for a few rounds, and torture him. Paul got hit a lot by Margarito, and looked tire and hurt to the body, imagine what Cotto will do.. who is arguably the best body puncher in the world.. he'll tear that **** up

close fight but i think Cotto would win because Paul wouldnt be able to hurt him.

I think Cotto could rip Williams fragile body and win a late round tko.

Williams will dominate Cotto with his outside sniping for maybe 4 to 5 rounds then, after that Cotto's body shots will cut Williams down like a three.

    Timbeeeeeeeeeeeer!

Williams power is not enough to stop Cotto's attack. :yep

All those "Williams power is not enough to stop Cotto's attack" comments are straight Bull****.

If Margo was not able to walk right through Williams punches, neither will Cotto. Margo has the better chin and he was held at bay, as will Cotto.

The only problem here is that Williams fights almost at 180lbs at fight night he made Margarito look like a featherweight.

Nah that's not bull**** . . . if you'll just use your brain to analyse the difference between Cotto's attack and Margo's attack then you'll see the difference.

Cotto cuts the ring a lot better than Margo. So when Williams box and move around, Cotto will hit him with power punches in the side of the body therefore weakening him much early than what Margo has done.

The chin? Both have good chins. Williams throws a lot of punches but not even half of those are power punches. Those are "powder punches" if we may call it and that's not the kind of punch that will stop Cotto. Zab Judah's uppercut that cut Cotto's chin in the early round of their fight should give you a clue of what Cotto can absorb.

Bull****? Now you justify your arguement, why that's a bull****.

Williams takes this one. lemme break it down

    Williams strengths:
-punch output - throws more shots than cotto and will disrupt cottos attack.
-reach - Williams is a freak of nature for welterweight, and is gonna cause problems for anyone there. Add to the fact that he is fast which is really gonna break cotto's rythm (in which we all saw shane do to Cotto, see miguel going backwards the last 3 or 4 rounds - cotto lost those rounds and williams can look to take any rounds by doing the same thing)
-handspeed - Paul is faster than Cotto
Uppercut-factor - Paul has an excellent right and left uppercut, this is a weakness for Cotto. Judah landed his left and shane landed his right uppercuts, that is a chink in his armor.

    Williams weaknesses:
-punching power - not a one punch kind of guy, Cotto may just walk through his shots and lay a hurt on him, causing Paul to go on defense mode like he did with Margo in the later rounds. Not good for Paul
-defense - Paul seems to get hit alot in the face. Now Margo has a longer reach than Cotto and I think this will have a lot to do with Margo hitting him but cotto not, so his lack of defense may not play into effect with Miguel

    Cotto Strengths
-punching power - left hooks to body can land if he can walk through Pauls shots and not be discouraged. However, Cotto seems to get hurt easily. Cotto defintely has more power than Paul though.

    Cottos Weaknesses
-defense - gets hit too much. Judah, Torres, Corley, Shane all seemed to find the target. Shane had him on backpeddle mode for the last 3/4 rounds (and shane is 36, paul is young). Paul is gonna hit Miguel, its whether or not his shots have enough power to discourage Miguel.

Based on above I see a clear decision victory for Paul 'The Punisher'. He is young, undefeated, and is not gonna back down to Miguel. He is as hungry as Cotto is, but seems to have the southpaw factor, the tall factor, the arm lenght factor, punch output factor, and uppercut factor all going for him.

This is the truth. Margo started too late, he was coming on at the end and Williams was fading fast, another couple of rounds and Willams was KO'd. Cotto is a more intelligent fighter than Margo, it won't take him half the fight to figure Williams out and Willams doesn't have enough pop to keep Cotto off of him. Cotto in Nine!
