Cotto would hit Paul much more often than Paul would hit him, IMO. He'd give him a tough fight, but I see Cotto landing the more accurate punches down the stretch and keeping him off balance while moving, and being tighter in general on the inside.

Williams and JJC JR both take out cotto.Cotto's at best is a WW, so these big dudes I cannot see him getting trough them.

    :good

Cotto's defense is the key here, I think. It would be one of those nights where the inaccuracy of Paul's slapping is really exposed.

:good yeah that's a better way of putting it. Prime for Prime I have Paul winning though, but at this point in time Idk. I was actually calling for this fight after Margarito, but Floyd got to him first

I have to agree with Paul tiring Cotto out. Cotto was tiring with Margarito's pressure. Paul would make Cotto move a lot more and would get hit less than Margarito.

Different kind of pressure. Margarito's more heavy-handed style bothered Cotto in a way that Williams' more slappy approach wouldn't.

Margo is more heavy-handed, I give you that. But I think P would tire Cotto out just as quickly if not more quickly.

Nah, Miguel would just put on his earmuffs, stick the jab and then quickly reel in to form back up, and not let Paul move him around any more than he wanted to move. IMO. Paul doesn't have any way to really force him to tucker out. Volume alone will not serve.

And I don't think that PW can take the punishment that margarito took. Cotto is too accurate combined with PW taking too much too the chin.....

A draw or Pwilly by decision. Williams the superior puncher, but Cotto combination especially to the body would slow down Williams and respect Cotto. Both seem to be getting back to very good shape. Anybodies fight.

Cotto would slow down, I think he'd move much more than he'd actually need too, and tire out his own legs.

For those who say Mayweather-Cotto is an intriguing fight, this is a really intriguing one. My pick is Cotto by decision but it won't be easy.

People saying Cotto - Mayweather is intreuging, are seeing something I can't.

You're right, this fight is really intresting. There's enough talent at 154 to do a knock out style tournament.

Exactly. Williams pressure isn't the same as Margarito's. Volume punching alone isn't the key. It has to be effective.
