Paul doesn't fight with his height so the reach is worthless...He could be the 154 Klitschko if Manny Steward got a hold of him.

Has he ever fought someone the same height? He won't be leaning over/in as a matter of course. Still, I think he could get picked apart if Ishida stays composed.

The reach difference won't matter unless Williams actually utilizes his jab effeciently throughout the entire fight.

This is ONLY a great fight from the perspective of, "I, Boxing Fan, know Williams and Ishida has a buzz."

I am talking about from the perspective of where Williams is coming from. Williams is a fighter on the rebound. He was taken long and hard with a Slick Boxer. He was then sparked by one. He then robbed another. So they match him up with another Slick Boxer? WTF? Who is managing this man? Don't mean ish my a$$.

Williams' needed to fight more "available" opponents. Preferably ones who are accumulation punchers with little pop where he has the time to spark them. I would target guys coming up in weight or guys who blow up a bit. When he is back in top form? Then he is ready for the likes of an Ishida.

I like the fight as a fan. I know it is not a good fight for the fighter Williams who I also like. I hope he proves me wrong, but I dig Ishida too so either way fans win.

Williams is a fighter, and you can't help but respect that. But the damage is adding up...

Williams has regressed so badly in the last two years, hard to say. Was Ishida just in the right place for a "ready for the takin" Kirkland, or is he a real dark horse? We'll see, but I am rooting for The Punisher.

I'm gonna say Williams decision. Never seen him fight someone of similar height. Ishida might not be able to deal with the work rate, but Williams definitely has a slight case of the "shot".

first Paul Williams, then the world. Ishida will be an ATG.
