Probably Mayorga...Williams is gradually impressing me more but Im far from sold on him. Based on his welter form I cant pick against Ricardo here.

although Pw seems to have a great chin i just feel he would be wide open to Mayorga wide looping punches that tend to come from all angles. . after a few big bombs and 4 or 5 rounds of war i think Mayorga puts him down

Most posters are in bed right now.

Anyway, I went with PW. Now that he's actually starting to use his reach as an asset, I think Mayorga has a lot of trouble actually getting those looping punches to hit him, and the high workrate probably suppresses Mayorga's own workrate somewhat.

Tough one for any welter any time, but Williams eventually prevails with unanimous decision.

Gotta go with Paul although a Prime Ricardo was crazy! His style unpredictable, chin like cast iron and POWER was emmense. I could see him touching Paul's chin and ending it with is awkwardness but I doubt it highly. Paul's skills, length and work rate would make it extremly difficult for any version of Mayo to overcome. But like Mayo is unpredictable so is boxing.

I think that forrest daddy would have taken this by close decision in a war.

I think PW destroys Mayorga. Although Mayorga had some serious heat at 147, PW chin is pretty damn good. Plus the work rate of PW would tire put Mayorga in the mid to later rounds. If they were to fought I would guess either a late TKO or a UD for PW.
