I see Mosley stopping Williams late after a few close rounds. Thoughts?

Yeah I can’t argue with that. Mosley was in a much higher class. Paul had some pretty good height and power which might make it interesting though.

    He wouldn't use his height.

My first thought was Paul on workrate...but then I thought of Quintana. Then I thought Mosley with power, but there was the Vernon Forest with his height advantage.

At welterweight, I have to go with Shane. Paul was too there to be hit and against Mosley, one doesn’t need to be there to be hit.

Paul’s height and range would not matter because he did not always use it effectively. If Paul developed into a solid counterpuncher, would feel much more comfortable taking him.

Mosley could pose problems like Quintana did in the first fight and lead Paul around, all the while countering him with hard shots.

Paul from the Margarito fight would be nullified as well because, again, he is constantly open for shots, he doesn’t counter, and he could be lead into hard countershots.

Mosely by late stoppage...not because Paul is stoppage prone, but because Mosley power and style creates opening that could consistently put The great Punisher in constant trouble

Yeah, this is it completely. Williams gets overrated around here. He'd own guys like Clottey who liked to sit behind a high guard, but not someone like Shane.
