Lol. Imo i think it's time for Pavlik to move up in weight cause right now there's no big money fights for him at mw. The Sturm fight might bring him the unify title fight but it won't bring money and Sturm isn't a very good fighter with no big punch.

I would bring up Pavlik vs Williams at 160 in which i would love to see but it won't happen cause of the promoters ( Arum and Goosen) but i didn't cause i really doubt it will happen. I wish it did though cause i believe Williams can beat Pavlik.

Theres a reason why Pavlik is not being mention that much anymore cause the way he got beat up by a 43 years old Hopkins. Ever since that many don't consider Pavlik an elite anymore. Pavlik needs impressive wins vs a better opponents if he wants to be back as an elite level type of fighter.

You idiot! Sergiy knocked down and outclassed Daniel Santos and has a lot of the same stuff Quintana used agains PW (southpaw stance, decent speed and power, good defense, very good counter-punching).

Paul Williams is truly a special fighter and he proved it vs. Winky bigtime. But before of course before jumping to ATG and similar conclusions, we have to wait and see how he'll fare vs. different style of opponents, let's say Dzinziruk, Mosley and Pavlik. He and Caballero are freaks of the nature and very hard to fight, but once you find the way through those awfully long hands and figure out the style, he's beatable. But I don't see too many out there to do it. Dzinziruk at least holds some of the Quintana kryptonite and he's one size bigger than Carlos. This fight is no pushover!

Dz has a good chance to be a spoiler here. I'm not betting on it but the opportunity is there. He's much better than people give him credit for and he's got a lot of things that has troubled Williams before, especially if Williams falls back into lazy habits. Williams also won't have the benefit of a decent scouting job when it comes to Dz.

His fights are so hard to find, Goosen is hiring actors to give historical reenactments of them.

tbh mayweather V Williams dont interest me much. The guys practicly a supermiddleweight fighting at light middle and floyds a welter weight. Theres too much of a height advantage for williams. maybe he should start fighting guys his own size? not taking anything away from him, hes still a good fighter just would prefer to see him up at 160-168

    Quite protected,eh!:huh

Dzindziruk has fought on German,Polish,British, and German soil.
Williams? Has he ever fought outside the states?
Dzindziruk is undefeated. The same cant be said about Williams.
Dzindziruk beat Santos in one of the best light middle fights I ve seen within the last couple of years.Santos even found himself lying in the ring dust in round 11 of their encounter if I remember correctly.
Dzindziruk also beat Konecny who had twice beaten Koren Gevor. As you may known just about 2 weeks ago Gevor was robbed of a deserved victory against Felix Sturm in Sturm's backyard.
The classy Ukranian also defeated the likes of Julio,Brasilian ko banger Nasimiento(16 fights -16kos),or the very decent Russian fighter Nadirgegov(who beat Vince Philipps in his last outing to a ring),former european champ Thiam, the dangerous Frenchman Colas, and teak tough Bayram. All in all his fight record is as good as Williams' one.

Dzindziruk wont be the huge underdog against Willaims,Thats for sure!

As for the jester who thinks that it will be Khan vs Kotelnik II I strongly recommend you to go and buy some tapes of the Ukranian before making such ridiculous statements!:hey

    Is that even possible

Finding a Dz fight is like searching for big foot in broad daylight.

Never seen Dzindziruk fight. But from what I've read about him, he's a tactical fighter with good footwork and counterpunching ability. Sounds a bit like maybe he can he pull off Quintana's gameplan in his first fight vs Williams?

I think there are some fighters out there Paul Williams shouldn't be fighting, and this guy might be one of them. It's risk vs reward and there isn't much reward in fighting Dzindziruk. Sure, Paul would win another title, but I doubt winning ABC belts is what Paul wants to achieve. He needs big fights and beating Dzindziruk isn't exactly getting him any closer to one.

I hope that this fight comes off. This will be a good one. If Williams is properly motivated and trained he should win but he does have one L on his record so a loss is not totally out of the question if he's caught on an off night like Quintana.
