Who wins this match up? This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Your sole purpose for coming on here is to talk **** about PW, huh? The more he wins, the more you will look like the stupid-ass know-nothing that you are. Are you Aztek's litle brother or something?
Williams wins TKO 4, as Winky has to chop off his right leg from the knee down to make weight and gets tired after hobbling around the ring after about 10 minutes or so. Still, Winky lands an impressive jab here and there and blocks most of Williams' shots until the end of the fight...
bingo, winky isnt coming back to 154. He is at 160+ now. It would be an interesting fight. I say Winky wins it but then again we havent seen him fight in a long time and maybe at his age now he wouldnt be able to keep up with Williams pace and could get outworked. If he is in top form then he will UD williams.
Winky with his Krispy Kreme cravings isn't making 154 anytime soon so this is a moot thread. However hypothetically speaking if he was able to then at this stage i'd pick PTP because of his workrate and his solid body work.
williams has not hit his prime yet. in a few years, taking Winky's prime at 154, this would probably be a pickem fight, but as it is, I would pick winky without reservations in this fight.
The man from South of the "OR" :good Winky's pretty rusty...being at 154 is out of the question...i still don't think he would do enough to keep him off him and would win on points...i dont think he carries the power to KO though... I'd say PW on points...a close UD
In their prime altough we don't know if Williams has reached it I'd take Winky. Now Winky can't make 154 so the question is useless
Winky can't make 154, perhaps at 160. I think the southpaw edge goes to Wink and his jab but I actually think this matchup would favor PW. Winky doesn't have enough pop and isn't active enough to keep PW from piling up the points. Winky prefers to block as opposed to clinch which doesn't favor him in the judges eyes, plus he's just too old. Since he doesn't have power or workrate, he would need to outslick PW to win which I just don't think he has the legs to do anymore. Unless, or course, he could back PW up, which isn't out of the question since he did that to Tito and JT. It would be interesting to see what Wink has left. He could probably pepper that left eye of Williams with that jab and perhaps get a TKO stoppage due to a cut. Guys who I think match up better against Williams, who's shown to have a good beard despite being vulnerable to cuts, are going to be guys who have either a combination of slick boxing and stamina or power and stamina, the emphasis being on stamina. A guy that is a slick boxer and also has power along with stamina would obviously be a very good boxer. I'd be interested to see how Williams does against a Kirkland or Angulo at 154 or Clottey and a Margarito rematch at 147.
