Williams is a bad matchup for Mosley. I think he'll get outboxed by Williams. Mosley doesn't deal well with bigger boxers (Forrest/Winky)

Great article. Williams couldn't be more right Margo should have taken the bigger payday and fought him instead, he screwed himself. I still think Williams would have beaten Margo even worse than Shane did on saturday. Williams has more power and is more active. Just like Williams said people don't realize speed is power, speed kills.

 

I thought and said after the Margo-Cotto fight, that I thought Cotto could have taken something away from Margo's chin because of all the punishment he absorbed early on before Cotto's stamina became an issue. However, I would not go as far as Paul Williams went to say that Mosley's victory was a result of his and Cotto's war with Margo. Shane, just came in with a superior game plan that lead to Margo being KO'd. The main difference is that Shane started working that body from the opening bell and never stopped until Margo crumbled for good in the 9th. Then again, if Paul is angling for a fight with Mosley, I would consider it smart PR to try to agitate him by diminishing his victory. Although Shane has struggled with taller fighters in the past, I don't think he would avoid Williams. Mind you, Williams is a beast, but he eats his fair share of leather too during his fights, but he would Shane angles and with that wingspan he would be a tough out. But if he got careless against Shane, he better look out. With Nazim Richardson is Shane's corner, Shane is like a kid with a new toy.

 

Winky hasn't fought since 2007 against Hopkins and he looked bad in that fight. He's 37 now. Paul Williams will beat that turtle-shell defense down and put a beating on Winky. As far as Shane I would like to see him fight Cotto since the first fight was close. He has a good chance to stop Cotto this time but it wouldn't be easy. Berto would be an easy way to get 2 titles though. I'm sure Clottey would fight Shane. That's a tougher fight than a Cotto rematch. I don't know Paul Williams coming back to 147 after 3 fights. I don't think he will even though he says he can make the weight. The winner of Williams/Wright most likely fights Pavlik.
