Im a big Williams fan, and theres no doubt that underperformed against Quintana in a way he wouldnt do in a superfight (he was very lackluster and lethargic that fight, compared to the rematch, marg fight, winky fight, ect) But still... its hard not to see Mayweather winning a decision outboxing him given that Quintana was able to have success. It would be tough, and there would be some dangerous moments but Id just have to favor Mayweather.
i see your point but havae you come to this conclusion after factoring in - floyd halves pretty much all of his opponents output - according to harold lettermen 25% of your score should be based on defense
I never understood PW having any chance against Floyd. I always said if anyone would beat or give Floyd a tough fight, it's Maravilla at 154. But Floyd wasnt campaigning at 154 then, he fought there once when Oscar made him come up, and only had 3 fights at 147 at that point. PW didnt fight smart, and would get tagged all night, while Floyd would make him miss. I dont know why, but people still underrate Floyds defense. He makes far more accurate fighters than PW miss, and miss bad. I dont see anything that PW brings ot the table that beats Floyd. 117-111 for FMJ. If he fought Sergio 5 years ago. or even in 2009. I probably would have given that fight to Floyd too, but in a very close fight.
Williams may not have beaten Mayweather, but I think that he would have been Mayweather's toughest fight.
Williams' accuracy was pathetic and he gave up his height. He would have been easilly picked apart because he was his own worst enemy.
Void would never come anywhere near Williams. Void will never come anywhere near Golovkin, not even at 154. Golovkin knocked Ishida through the ropes and out cold in the 3rd round, Williams could not even hurt Ishida. Ishida also knocked Kirkland out in the very first round..........
Void, Sr. said that Void, Jr. would never fight Pac. He said that right after Pac stopped Cotto. Void, Sr. said that Pac was too dangerous for Pac, that Void, Jr. did not want to get brain damage. Golovkin said he would fight Void at 154, Martinez said he would come down to 154 to fight Void, but Void will not fight either one.
Let's see GG move up and beats some Champs like Mayweather has been doing:yep Manny rejected the best deal he'll ever see in his life...a 5050 split and a 14 day cutoff..:deal
