Paul Williams Why all the Hype?

I gotta ask you, when seeing the fight, who would you have rather been?

I know for a fact, 90%+ will say Martinez, he simply shined in there.

 

I'm not really into phantom stats, but after the 5th round PW came on real strong and started to wear down Martinez so I have to say PW although Martinez caught him with some good shots!!!

 

Had Martinez been a solid puncher, those punches bouncing off Pauls chin, clean and sweet... it would've been over, thats it.

His career will be real short if he keeps on trucking about, taking those kind of punches.

 

How about the obvious question to the TS's question? His promoter has done his job well? Paul has done his part and his promoter has done his. I hate Goosen but I'll give credit where credit is due. Goosen isn't dumb by any stretch. Remember when he suggested a 'box off' between Greene and Miranda for the tourney spot? He knew it wasn't going to happen but it put a legit question in the minds of the boxing world and upped Miranda's stock just by doing that. He got Miranda two title shots but the first one fell through.

IMO The fact that he said that black fighters are easier to hype is totally false!!!!!!!

Everything else I can agree to a point and could debate, but that whole black fighters are easier to hype I think its the other way around because for PW to be an exciting fighter he doesn't have a good following!!:huh
