People say Williams is over-hyped? Seems like Martinez is getting a bunch of over-hyping with people regarding him as being a "dangerous" opponent. What has he done? He'll get his ass kicked. "But Quintana"...blah..blah..blah..did you forget Williams fought Quintana a 2nd time?

You think he will make the same mistake again? Won't happen. He learned his lesson and has been getting better each fight since. Martinez is no more difficult than Pavlik. It's just a beat down waiting to happen!

Why do you think that Martinez and Quintana are comparable fighters?
Martinez is a dangerous opponent for Williams, because there clearly is the potential that he could lose.
Any mistake that he improved on to help him take out Quintana won't be that meaningful in his approach to fighting Martinez.

you're insane...no one is steamrollng Sergio Martinez...especially not Paul Williams. Besides Quintana, after he lost to him, who has he steamrolled worth mentioning?

Quintana is who made the tactical mistake during the second fight. Quintana is usually the counterpuncher who uses the ring well. He believed all of the morons who were stating that he could have knocked out PW during the first meeting if he had just been more aggressive. He tried to be the aggressor, something he usually doesn't do, and he got caught coming in.

I'm not saying that Paul will sole for sure, but don't be surprised if he gets knocked out in this one. Sergio is very underrated and is probably more avoided than PW...and Sergio has a current title.

If Williams comes in at 100%, he SHOULD win.

But, I wonder how hard he'll train when he's fighting someone he never mentioned as one of his top targets.

Either way, I'm curious to see what happens on Saturday.

Martinez is a nobody in world class boxing terms.
Hes built his record fighting nobodies.
Willliams should take care of him easily

I never said he was. This is just something people use who say Martinez is a "dangerous" opponent! Before every Williams fight it's..."well of Quintana did this or that..then fighter A, B, C can do it". Well, he is getting better every fight. He want let that little hiccup happen again!

WTF has Martinez done in the ring to be a serious "threat" to Williams? Ever since Martinez was KO'd by Margo-Cheato he has feasted on nobodies. He fought Cintron, but that performance was nothing special.

I think so too. Martinez hasn't seen anything like PWill, and the fighters he's been doing so well against are a step below. I think Williams makes a statement here.

Most people think if PWill fought Quintana 100 more times, he would win 100 times. That the first fight was a fluke.

    They're right.
