I was smiling during FNF when Wink was saying that exact same thing. Went something like "Everyone says I've got no power. Now how many guys do you see just run in on me?" He also looked pretty damned good from what I could see, definitely not all that far off from the weight.

On the other hand, neither Taylor, nor Bernard, nor Tito are true pressure fighters. Williams will be making every effort to throw upwards of 80 a round. The question is, will Winky let him. The man knows how to take away your offense.

I can't see Williams winning by ko. I have a feeling Winky might just pull it off. But the safe bet would have to be Williams on points.

Yeah I'm a bit worried about the infamous Teddy Atlas prediction curse! He didn't mess up my Pac TKO9 pick luckily.

And Shane Mosley and Felix Trinidad were supposed to beat Winky. Didn't happen. I actually think the time away from the ring could benefit Winky, especially at his age. The only thing is how rusty will he be?

Paul Williams stepped on a landmine.

He may come out of this with a SD victory, it'll be close.

It could be good for him but I really wonder how much Winky is having to lose for the fight and how much he let himself go physically. Winky rely's on counter-punching and he needs it against Williams so the ring rust could be a major factor. I wonder how his timing will be because you know Paul is gonna put on major pressure.

That might be why he started using that turtle-shell defense!

:D I was thinking the same.

Obviously the Winky that fought back then was a different fighter. In order for PTP to have a real shot of hurting him he'll have to be able to counter Winky's jab with the overhand left. Winky's tight d is obviously gonna make it hard to find openings and I don't think constant pressure will be enough. PTP will have to fight smart and take advantage of the small openings. In all likeliness the fight will go the full 12 rounds.

Taylor was landing A LOT of shots on Winky. The ONLY reason why the fight was close is because Taylor was backing up against the ropes with his guard down. Had Taylor constantly put the pressure on him and kept the fight at the middle of the ring, he would of won the match. Even Emmanuel Stewart was telling him not to lay on the ropes, in which he stupidly did.
