Williams won't be ready by this date because of his last fight. He has cuts to heal.

Cotto, Mosley and Pacquiao won't fight Williams. Hopefully Floyd chooses the winner of Mosley/ Berto.

The OP blames Mayweather before anything and he obviously did not read the entire article.

"there are political reasons that would prevent this fight from taking place. Manager/adviser Al Haymon guides the careers of both fighters. It's not likely for Haymon to match two of the best fighters in his stable against each other. That won't happen."

They have the same manager and usually managers don't like to have their top fighters fight each other because no matter what the outcome is, one of their top fighters loses, possibly affecting earnings later on for the manager.

Try reading the article before making an ass out of yourself next time.

Before the Martinez fight i would have given Williams a great chance of winning this. Not anymore though.

I'm of a similar opinion. I wouldn't have given him a 'great' chance before Sergio got his hands on him (probably about 60/40 for Floyd or 50-50) but Martinez exposed some real flaws

 do you really think one man could stop the fight from happening if both camps including fighters and promoters wanted it ? i doubt it in anyway if he did try to stop he would only be managing one of them because williams would fire his ass if he tried to stop him getting the biggest fight and payday of his career. wat type of manager would do that to his fighter ?

fact is mayweather is terrified of williams and this manager thing will just be used by him as an excuse to avoid paul and as i see it is allready working on ****heads w

Williams is a true warrior of the sport. There is NO ****ing way Mayweather is fighting him!

It's such an obvious and wicked fight the fans would love, but this Mayweather we're talking about here! he don't take challenges, he just chases paycheques. He should just fight in the WWE from now on....

Booradley and Hermit certainly thinks he knows more about Paul than Goosen, Peterson, and Al Haymon put together...

They're about to go on my ignore list...:patsch:scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:
