Paul Williams won 114-112 imo, but I have a lot of respect for Martinez...

After being put down by PW, Martinez came back and decked PW in round 1. For the next two rounds, Martinez seemed in control until PW adjusted, and imo eeked out a two point win imo of course. I had a draw going into the 11th round. Rounds 1 and 5 were probably the best rounds of the fight. PW just won't let anyone take control of the fight after he gets hit. I got this feeling that if Martinez kept throwing the big left or that if PW went to Martinez's body, something would have to give. Their hearts won out.

Martinez sneak right hook found it's mark time and again, but PW's pressure and his own big left kept him in the fight. Both guys abandoned their body attack, and just kept throwing head shots.

Pw's jab probably made the difference. Lederman scored the first round 10-9 for Martienz lol... How the fuk did that happen when both went down lol... 9-9 should be the score. I can't make a case that Martinez won, but if anything the closest score I could give him, and that's giving him everything is either a one point loss or draw.

Both guys exposed each other to each other in this fight, and neither could capitalize on each other to make it onesided in their favor. This does not mean that the next guy can do this to these two men since you probably had the two best 154 lber's in the world

Martinez is a genuine guy. He probably feels he's been robbed twice. He is a great sportsman, and showed great sportsmanship too. Both Williams and Martinez gave each other props after the fight as great champions.

Is this fight of the year...? It's one of the best:good.

 

I'd have to look back at other fights to see if this fight WAS fight f.o.t.y...

 

PW did not lose last night lol... He just got hit more than people thought he should've, but he was fighting a top guy so that happens from time to time.

 

I attract the same old degenerates because I keep it real. Most of them are Pa'cs fans, Pav's fans or Mexican traitors who became PAc's fans lol.

 

PW won the fight, and Martinez gave a good showing by landing what looked to be the cleaner shots, but PW landed more punchesm, and his jab. PW came out faster than he ever has, and it could have cost him had Martinez had energy toward the end of the fight. both were tired. If a rematch happens, PW will be more patient, and Martinez will stand still a bang a bit more. neither went to the body like they should've.
