I liked Williams...but he wouldn't
Paul Williams was a nightmare at welterweight. At Middleweight, not so much. GGG would knock him out.
Golovkin would rather fight Dan Goossen (Rest in Peace) than Williams.
He’s a stand up guy
Or power The Punisher wasnt a one punch KO artist either. GGG probably would have gotten the Ko but pwill would have got his fair share of licks in.
Well the proof is in the pudding. Brook doing as good as he did against GGG is a template for future debates involving great WWS who have made the jump to MW and beyond, going h2h in a HYPOTHETICAL matchup against GGG. I Dont see pwill getting a win against Golovkin being that far fetched tbh.
Yeah, it’s weird. Before the fight was halfway over Brook’s corner had to stop the fight due to Kell having suffered a career altering / ending beating…after having hit Golovkin with his best punches to zero effect. Do the same people think that Hearns laid the blueprint on how to beat Hagler because he drew blood on Marvin? Or think that Tito showed how to beat Hopkins because he made it to the 12th round?
Williams would get Ishida'd. Williams is way to easy to hit, that fight wouldn't last that long.
No ggg power overrated
And it hasn't been done yet. Derevyanchenko came the closest and GGG was sick that fight.
Golovkin terminates him.
The Punisher gets punished with multiple knockdowns and a brutal stoppage.
Paul Williams was a good fighter out of the southpaw stance, so he can do well for a good portion of the fight imo, but in the end, GGG in his prime would be too strong and would have got to him in the end. It would have been a stoppage win for Golovkin most likely.
Sergey Derevyanchenko says hi.
According to GGG: "this good fight, I like Mexican style, I beat Williams like bad boy."
Sadly GGG looks that did not had proper natural mexican butchers meat like Clenelo.
Otherwise he might had get Clenbuterol Diva's place today. Ofc if he had proper origin.LOL.
