A prime Golovkin would have decimated Martinez and Williams, imo.

No, not a lot of power. But his size did allow him to throw a good bomb on occasion. He sure did KFTO ... Kolle? I think? But his volume was a lot of arm punches.

    Agreed.

Williams may have theoretically had the tools to trouble GGG, but he was far too inclined to fight like a smaller fighter and that would be his undoing.

Yes the GGG fight destroyed Brook, he was damaged goods when he fought Spence.

I’ve thought the same thing. PWill was a little reminiscent of Chico Corrales in that sense. Both men were very tall and lean for their weight classes but neither fought like it. Both men’s natural instincts was for trench warfare and they both gave the fans their money’s worth

He lost to an old Golovkin not the point you were trying to make...

He arguably lost. Many people had Derevyanchenko winning, and others had GGG winning. A smaller B level boxer without the KO power.

He would definitely fit in nicely on the GGG highlight reel. No disrespect to the Punisher.

The same one GGG was stripped of for refusing to fight Derevyanchenko when he was undefeated and at the peak of his game.

    Yeah that one. Lmao

The one that was being forced down GGG'S throat because Canelo screwed the entire rematch up by getting caught cheating, yeah that one.

Peak of his game at 36, fresh off getting robbed vs Canelo.
