    I swear everytime I come to the website I read something about Paul "Hype" Williams. He hasn't really fought anyone beside Margarito and you guys act like that fight was a domination. Watch the ****ing fight again. Or better yet watch the 1st Quintana fight. And I am aware of the second Quintana fight. I am also aware of Williams chin too. Most overated fighter ever.

    :lol: Williams is a good and entertainer fighter. No reason to hate him. Learn to ignore hype.

    I'm not a Paul Williams fan, but damn it's not his fault he cant get anyone from 147-160 to fight him.

    I know he's hads trouble getting fights @ 147, but c'mon, it's not like fighters @ 154 & 160 are avoiding him.

    It is not the fighters fault for being hyped, all he can do is beat whoever is put in front of him, however there are more fighters than just Paul Willams that get hyped on this website so why do you aim your abuse at Paul Williams?

    Your hate for the guy is simply weird..... Hes defeated every person hes ever faced.... beating margarito, and avenging his only loss by a first round knockout... looks like he will be stepping up the competition this year, cant ask for much more from williams besides performing better in the first quintana fight.

    Well ****, we cant expect him to just take on Pavlik or another top dog at 160 right off the bat. He'd get ktfo.

    why all the hate? He is a fun fighter to watch and has scores of potential. Whats the reasoning? You are from Oxnard, I know that area.... maybe it has something to do with your ethnicity ?

    He is a good fighter I just think he is overated. No one fears the guy. Its all in everyones heads. And in his too.

    The only thing that really impresses me about Williams is his stamina and that he can make 147 being so tall and long. But the fact that there are posters on here that believe he can compete and even be favored against the top guys at 160 and 168 is really ridiculous and the worst example of ignorant nuthugging. Its also bothersome that his camp claims he can't get a fight when really they're the ones that are avoiding and cherry-picking.

    I like Paul Williams, I just hate it that his fickled fans only showed up after the Quintana rematch and were no where to be seen leading up to it.

    I agree. I just don't believe he's as avoided @ 154 & 160 as it's made out. The thing is, until recently (wining title from Verno), no one at 154 or 160 were obligated to fight a guy who campaigned for the most part @ 147.

    Look at it this way. @ 147, he has just two wins vs. top WW's, Margarito and Quintana (Quintana only got a high ranking by beating Williams) and 1 win @ 154 vs. a top ten JrMW. No wins vs, ranked MW's.

    He brings little money unless Goosen opens his check book, and is not a mainstream draw.
