what yall dont understand .... is for some people to beat paul stylistically you would have to be able to out gun him (which is difficult due to his output) out counter him (which we have seen) or ko him (which we dont know is possible yet.. due to his great chin so far) ... how many guys do we know of stylistically that can do that
have you seen david lopez fight....he had a rough start to his career, but he's also a southpaw who throws a lot of ****en punches and is pretty tall too....
or counterpunch him with a great chin :deal kirkland and angulo are my picks, they both love the body and have good chins..they aint counter punchers by any means, but they'll bang it out with him and love every minute of it....:bbb
KIRKLAND - win KO ANGULO - havent seen him SANTOS - loose UD FORREST - win UD MORA - win UD DZINZIRUK - loose UD SPINKS - win UD DAVID LOPEZ - win KO
I can see Angulo giving him a hard time with his chin and work rate. Kirkland also, but I dont think Kirkland has the durability that Angulo does. I dont see anyone having an easy time with Paul. He'll make it a tough night for anyone.
yeah but if they dont ko him... they cant win they wont win a decision.... paul is just going to throw 1100 and get a decision ... he doesnt get tired and has a wonderful chin....
what kirkland got popped? what county? as long as its dallas or harris or travis or possibly in east texas, he should be ok as long as he wasnt in possession of any dope, he isnt on probation or parole already, and wasnt doing anything illegal with the gun, and the gun is clean thats a lot of ifs though
I sorry but Cotto would get his ass whipped by Williams, Also dont look for that fight to happen as long as Cotto is with Arum. To me, when thinking about who would beat Williams its tough to come up with anyone under 160, and depending on just how good Williams chin is Im not sure about anyone at 160. I dont see Pavlik or AA outpointing Williams, but maybe they could stop him. Im not saying that Williams is unstoppable because he know that he isnt, but when he is on top of his game its hard to think of anyone that can beat him.
throwing punches dont win you fights son, angulo and kirkland will land quality shots meant to hurt you....i guess it'll come down to what the judges like
I don't think PW is unstoppable, yes he whipped Wink but people are making it out to be more than it was. At 147 I think a good version of SSM takes him, but at 37 who knows how much he has left. I think he stops Berto and Cotto, Clottey isn't active enough. At 154 Dzinzurak is a threat, along with a very good version of Forrest but at his age he is likely done, right now I don't see PW losing to Santos, Mora, Spinks, Kirkland or Angulo. Though Kirkland has potential if he can get his **** together both inside and outside the ring. At 160 and above I think Taylor, Pavlik and perhaps Abraham beat him, but he definitely beats Sturm's ass. As for Bhops, I will get some **** for this but If PW can take his shots I think he can win simply by outworking the 44 yr old, same for RJJ.
Williams brutalizes Angulo he has him beat in every department.:deal Dzinziruk might have a chance but Angulo please. BTW Kirkland has a good chance and so does Spinks.
agreed, I think Paul is a decently durable guy. I've got no proof to support that notion at higher weights, just a feeling I have. I think he'll be able to handle some good shots. Dont underestimate paul's power either. I think he's got pop when he sits down on his shots. Loads of punches, from a tall guy, some with power and speed coming from all angles isnt an easy thing to deal with.
HOPKINS IS A LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT AND WILLIAMS CAN BE A WW, JMW, OR MW SO THAT DON'T MATTER.. LMFAO "COTTO CAN WHOOP HIS A$$" WHAT R U SMOKING?? :rofl:rofl
