has the tools to be a top p4p fighter for a long time. he just needs to put it all together.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. with his height, wingspan and reach to go along w/ his natural athleticism he should be untouchable and should be laying people out cold. but this isnt the case. he doesnt fight tall or control distance very well and he tends to get off balance at times. he overcomes this with his stamina and workrate. if he can put it all together he could be somethin' else.

Paul Williams gives the fans what they want, a FIGHT. He comes to fight every single time and loves to trade. 82 inch reach, the guy is like 6'4, unending stamina and a REAL good chin. He doesn't care who he fights either. He is a few fights away from pressuring the top guys to fight him.

he's a overrated bum who ducks the best fighters, he hops from one division to another avoiding good fighters and then he has the nerve to cry about no one fighting him!

PDub is probably the best fighter at 154. Stylistically he is a fairly simple come forward pressure fighter who uses size and work rate to overwhelm his opponents. He has the potential to be much more than that, but so far, he hasn't shown it.

Paul is always entertaining. He comes to fight, I do agree w/ most his defense needs improvement. I consider Paul one of the best volume punchers, basically his defense is offense. This style is fun to watch but could lead to a quick fall from the top. I witnessed him rematch quintana and he was totally dominate. He def beat him better than berto did recently. Which leads me to my next suggestion berto vs. paul williams would be a good money making fight they both deserve.

    :good

I actually really like PW. not seen him much live in the UK but from what ive seen on youtube etc he seems a really good fighter who should be fighting the best out there at either WW or LMW/MW.
Looking 4ward to the Cintron fight as its live and free in the UK.

I don't know if he's overrated, but I do know that he could probably be better than he is. He has freakish talent and physical attributes, but he doesn't actually use them to their optimal ability. He does have a tough time getting fights (especially at lower weights) because of those attributes, but I think that Quintana and Martinez have proven that his reach, length and workrate aren't too difficult to overcome if you have a little slickness and punch accurately.

Which fighters has he ducked? The reason your boy Mosley hasn't fought in over a year cause when Mayweather and Pacquiao wasn't available, Williams was the only big fight out there for Mosley in which Mosley knew it but didn't want to take a chance cause he knows Williams would beat the **** out of him.

Williams is flawed like most fighters, but he's a badass and a throwback. His offense is one of the best in the sport and needs a win over one of the top 3 WW's or big names like Mosley, Pac, or Floyd so he can finally be a star himself. A rematch with Martinez is most probable and if he doesn't fight at WW anymore he and Martinez can make their own legacies fighting each other and taking over the rest of the weak 160 champions. There's also many potential great fights with Angulo, Cintron, Kirkland, Dzindziruk, Foreman, Vanes, and Cotto.
