Cintron couldnt even "kill" that club fighter Jesse Feliciano what makes you think he's gonna beat Paul Williams? Cintron can't handle any type of pressure and wouldnt be able to cope with the pressure Paul Williams would bring. And let's not forget that Quintana is a skilled southpaw fighter. Being a southpaw is an advantage enough plus he has very good boxing skills. Paul Williams would make Cintron quit.

    agreed.

and to everyone else in this thread....give CQ some credit....incredibly skilled, slick southpaw - not exactly the easiest guy to match up with and land on

    PW < Cintron, Cintron < Quantana......< Cotto < Mayweather.

Mayweather <=>PW (I still think he has best chance in all division to beat Floyd).

    Styles makes fights:good

Nope. Like I've been saying for months, Williams' flicked jab and flicked straight left don't be causing Mayweather any trouble. Blindly trying to punch for the sake of punching and driving up the punch stats wouldn't work with Mayweather. It worked with the slow, plodding, Margarito, but there is quite a difference....

Edit: Quintana's movement gave Williams fits. Mayweather would be damn near impossible for Williams to land cleanly on.

I've said long before the Quintana fight that Cintron would be the one welterweight I'd pick over Williams. Williams isn't hard to find, he's a big target and Cintron punches very hard. Not a difficult fight to figure out.

Granted, Cintron has trouble with pressure. But Feliciano, Estrada and Margarito are all smaller than Williams. They don't present that sort of huge target for Cintron who himself is about 5'11.

i feel you i just thought he was over hyped i saw in the Mitchell that mitchell was landing to often. i always felt a larger fresher slicker fighter would beat him ie cq,spinks, zab maybe.

i feel his defence has holes and cintron's power will crack his chin it's a style's thing. thats just IMO:good

great point! usally i would agree but the thing is pual williams doesn't use his height he only has a high punch out put. doesn't use his power. the fight would make williams look way sloppier then he did this past weekend.
NOW if PW fought like say A vernon forrest did in his prime or even like now he would definately have a chance. but he doesn't and his offense is his defence. not a good thing when you fight elite fighters:good

I know exactly where you're coming from.....It just seems people are thinking "williams lost(or was exposed)" and not a lot of "CQ put on a wonderful performance and dominated the ring control for the fight"
