I’m not crazy about his voice but Paulie knows boxing. He’s one of the best analysts in the game, MUCH better than Ward or Bradley. I think Paulie doesn’t toe the company line and speaks his mind too much. He’s too honest and the crooks who run boxing want yes-men and guys who spout BS. Lucky for them there are a lot of those guys out there. Paulie could never punch but his boxing knowledge and analysis are solid.

Always loved me some Paulie. Sure he has his bad moments or an occasional ego takeover but he is overall a great commentator.

 

I like Paulie for the above reasons, but mainly because he isn't afraid to tell it how it is. This makes him the antithesis of the jaded shills such as Adam Smith and thus, actually worth listening to.

Roy is dramatically losing his ability to speak clearly, I think he’s going to deteriorate a lot very quickly he dragged his career out for to long and in meaningless fights that he took beatings he didn’t need to take

 

Most of the time he is a really good announcer, but he sometimes has a very obvious agenda and at that point his commentating gets unbearable. He is a top commentator and is obviously knowledgeable.

 

Paulie is just another Floyd dick sucker
