The whole concept is that you CAN get tested any time without warning. So even if you get tested once in seven fights, if you didn't know when you were going to get tested then it still works. From my understanding VADA is very inexpensive, which has two benefits. First of all it's more accessible, which leads to broader implementation. Second of all there's less chance of the participants "buying" their results as has been suspected of USADA. The drawback of being inexpensive is that you can't expect them to test everyone all the time.
I dunno, any evidence of vada letting people off with failed samples and issuing TUEs 21 days after the fact? And how many pro boxers has vada caught vs usada?
It absolutely does not work because there are substances that get out of your system within 24 hours.
Vada should continue doing the good work and test them twice a year as Paulie requested. Paulie enrolled what year? when he was on the decline fighting once a year. In his case maybe he got test 1 every 7 months. But probably other boxer get test twice a year which is sufficient enough. Just because you got tested 1's every 7 months doesn't mean every boxer is test ones every 7 months. It's random. Is there an app or something or they just pull a name out of hat?
If you think two-times-a-year testing is sufficient you are bonkers. People on this forum always point to UKAD and VADA 365 when they try to argue certain fighters are clean. None of them are efficient.
But.. But i read on here VADA 365 is fool proof Tell me its not flawed!!!! Jokes aside, fighters imo clear VADA all the time and when they do get caught its bad luck on their part
The fighters with the best promoters and team will have top of the range sports scientists and pharmaceuticals. Surprising how canelo got caught, sloppy at best
What is sufficient then MR. Expert? Of course they can't test them 24/7 365 that's impossible. The point is they will get tested randomly and if they slip up they get popped.
Well for example pulev and fury got tested 4 times in 4 weeks prior to fighting wlad, wlad never got tested until after the fight. Think he’s just pointing out inconsistencies and flaws in random testing
All people do on this forum is complain, complain, complain. Don't see any of you guys trying to do anything about except cry like babies on a boxing forum. I for one, think VADA are doing a lot of good. Good job VADA if you are reading, thumbs up. Would be nice if you could maybe increase the frequency of your tests too. Cheers.
Are you saying that VADA announces themselves to the fighter, over 24 hours before collecting the samples?
