OK i admit at first I hated this guy, but more and more since the cotto bout he did show us nice skills and heart, I was sitting at my table working inside my house and watching RDS at the time the bout between Pauli and Ndou, I watched the first 3-4 rounds with a quick eye and damn I was impressed with his speed, I think combined with his skills at 140 he can be a real force even a champ, after the fight between hatton and castillo I would like him to take on the looser and after that if he beat procede to fight the winner... I think this kid is realy talented

Very fast, very talented, very tough fighter. I have a lot of respect for the kid. He is among the elite at 140 without question.

the way he stood up to that beating from cotto made me a fan, but to be honest i did not think he would recover from that. he has definitely impressed me with his resilience. very fast hands, good defense, and puts together some very nice combinations. has heart and a good chin. he will get better. and i would like to see him against cotto in the future. both with more experience would make for a very exciting fight.

Sure Paulie is athletic, his father was professional athlete. Same as Hatton, his father was a professional soccer player as well.

He reminds of Camacho before he started clinching all the time. Paulie's not as fast though.

that beating was the best thing that could have happened to his career. it humbled him, and in the long run it will make him a much better fighter, and also puts into the minds of his future oponnents that the kid cannot be bullied, because he will not back down. because he has already been through hell.

Honestly, he probably has the fastest hands out there right now. Too bad he has pillows for fists...if he only had power, he would be fantastic.

hector was the fastest fighter i have ever seen. so saying that paulie is not as fast is no slight towards him.

    I'm talking about a pre-Rosario Featherweight/Jr. Lightweight Macho here !!

...and it wasn't just his handspeed, he was hella swift on his toes too :yikes

No bro, Camacho was much faster than paulie...his 5 punch combo was just ridiculous.
