I just have that feeling that pacquiao is that type of 'special' fighter we will not see perhaps in the next see in the next decade. Cotto level fighter will come and go during that period. I'm still waiting for roach to give his two cents on the fight plan before i concrete a prediction.

I can't find the vid but Paulie did indeed predict a Hatton win. Maybe he also contradicted himself in a different interview that you either read or watched but he definitely predicted a Hatton win over Pac at some point.

 

Cotto will win by knockout in the 9th or so...cotto is too big and too strong for lil pac!

 

Cotto is tough skilled and fast, Pac is maybe not as tough, a fair bit faster and maybe hits harder, even considering the weight/size issue.
Paulie though I love the guys spirit and heart has no punch, so as far a Cotto beating him up, if your not worried about anything coming back , it was easy for Cotto to lay a beating on him.
Now whether Pac's punches can hurt Cotto, I think probably yes, and if Cotto decides to go into earmuff/turtle mode hes going to get a real beating.
I see a Pac win by beating Cotto down, probably late in the fight, TKO or Cotto quitting on his stool.

 

PAC vs MAB - It was logical to think MAB will WIN!

PAC vs Hatton - Hatton was the king of 140lbs. His only loss was when he went up to 147lbs. It was logical for boxing fans to think Hatton will win

PAC vs ODLH - Before the fight, it was stupid to think PAC will win!
it was logical to predict ODLH will win!

He definitely predicted a Pac win not too long before the fight. He also said Bradley, DLH and a few others KO Hatton.

 

It was on the front page of ESB at some point in an article like maybe a week prior to the Pac/Hatton fight.
