These comments by Paulie really make you wonder. Paulie has been going around bluntly stating that Pacquiao is on steroids to different boxing publications and Team Pacquiao has done nothing about it. Meanwhile, Mayweather goes on some little known rapper's satelite radio show and says the Phillipines produces the best PEDs and he's hit with a lawsuit. At the crux of any lawsuit are damages. Where are the damges in this case? How has Pacquiao been damaged? Has Mayweather even said anything specifically about Pacquiao that was untrue?

I am sorry , but that's just a bad take on it .. You say this as if you know PAC Is for sure taking roids . If PAC did not file a law suit you and people like you would have said that the fact that he did nothing proves he is on roids ... No matter what happens , you believe Floyd srs baseless accusations , that's why Floyd did what he did , to avoid the fight and save as much face as possible in doing so

it went absolutely nowhere. Just like the lawsuits against Canseco when he threw half of the MLB under the roids bus.

There weren't any lawsuits against Canseco. In his book, he called a lot of guys out, calling them steroid users, and NO ONE said **** because it was likley true.

It's not a bad take on it, I'm not saying Pacquiao is on steroids, when you make yourself look suspicious by flat out saying no to Olympic style drug testing & inconsistent statements about why not taking the drug test from Pacquiao's camp there is a chance they used the law suit innocent angle to get rid of public suspicion after not taking the drug test.

It's not exactly a big case, the law suit would've been processed & the media would've reported something by now, his filled the lawsuit in december if i can remember.

There isn't a law suit, something would've come out from Mayweathers camp by now if there was.

So Mosley pretty much knew he had no real case, then filed a lawsuit anyway, everyone made a big deal out of it like the lawsuit showed that Shan was innocent, and then the lawsuit just quietly dissappeared?

It might not be that simple Reg. But it's pretty obvious where you are going withthat post though.

Conte simply could have called him bluff with Shane not being aware of all the documents Conte had. That's why these take so long to settle.

Last I read, Shane claimed it was still active but that is all I know. Just did a quick search to find out if Balco is even solvent. I can't really find any clear link on that and I don't care enough to continue. There may be nothing left to sue.

These things take so long to settle because the plaintiff has to wait for the defendant to get tired of spending money to defend themselves. Shane's lawyers had this case moved from Cali to NY despite the fact Conte's comments were made in California. That seems like a tactic designed to draw this thing out. Shane has no case and neither does Pacquiao. They both seem to feel the need to abuse the legal system to win their own personal P.R battles.

I love how people hate on Paulie because he speaks his mind....hes 100% right, that lawsuit is full of **** and is just Pacs camp tryna do everything to take away from the whole steroids accusations......

if saying someone is on steroids, Barry Bonds would be suing millions of sports writers..

Pac is sueing Floyd Sr for saying HE WAS ON ROIDS! Like it was fact....It's hurting somebodies character, and isn't allowed.
Floyd JR at first suggested it, but later on I've heard him state it was FACT...So, he's getting sued.

I don't think I've heard Paulie say Pac was. Everything I heard was suggesting he was, reasons he think he is, etc. That's all perfectly legal. Thus he isn't getting sued. Plus, he's a bum anyways, looks ******ed, and nobody listens to him...So, no reason to sue him even if he was.
Pac is just going to let his buddy Khan beat that ass, and handle his light work ;)
