There is certainly as chance he could win. I'd still favor Garcia, but Paulie's speed could trouble Garcia.

    Styles make fights my man

I believe the key to beating Paulie is to walk through his shots and be completely offensive as proved in his losses to Khan and Hatton and although Garcia isnt as fast or offesnsive as the aforementioned fighters he does make up with it in the power department and has no worries from any big shots coming back at him from Malignaggi

Saying that Paulie would beat Garcia solely based on his performance against Judah would be saying that Garcia would destroy Malignaggi based on their performances with Amir Khan. Khan lost to Garcia via TKO but beat Paulie in the 11th. Judah never did fair that well as a welterweight bar a little success against Mayweather quite some time ago along with the fact he took a lot of shots in his fight against Garcia prior to Malignaggi

That being said we could see Paulie braving it out and outboxing Garcia much like Judah was able to. All in all though I would love to see this fight next

    Mathysse V Porter
    Khan V Brook

    Garcia V Malignaggi
    Soto Karass V Lopez

    Maidana V Thurman
    Broner V Judah

6 fights I hope to see in 2014 with the winners squaring off in my favourite division in boxing

Danny vs paulie would be a good fight at 147 because if either one of them wins it would be a good win.

If paulie win's hes got a notable name on his resume beating the best fighter at 140lbs.

If danny wins hes got a notable name against a tested welterweight

Paulie boxing skills are good, but overrated
His chin/heart is what allows him to outbox guys

don't know if he can survive Danny left hooks...but if Danny wants to win, he can't come the same way he did vs Khan or Judah :nono

He has to do what Cotto did to Paulie

styles make fights. and i learned as a boxing fan that u really cant think of previous fights. first off fighters improve. fighters switch trainer and weight divisions. fighters gain motivation and momentum certain time periods there hot and others there on the ladder part of career so dont even bother comparing fights .. cuz zab got punked out by amir.. and we all see wut danny did to amir. so just throw that **** out the window

paulie could surprise and out box danny wit speed and a good stiff jab. but problem is those punches wont hurt danny at all. danny ate kendal holts punches for lunch it u wanna start comparing fights. so i just see danny eventually landing sum hard thudding shots and just doing more damage through out the fight. paulies skills might win him alot of early rds n it can go to the cards n u never no wit these judges how they gonna look at it. paulie may be able to avoid getting knocked out.

Garcia style favors Paulie...unless Danny shows up in a higher gear than he did vs Khan and Judah

Its the fair fight to have

I had Malignaggi beating Broner 116-112 in their fight
Malignaggi had his belt stolen in my eyes against a very inactvie Broner

However what do you think will happen if Maidana fights Paulie? I have nothing but respect for both fighters but Maidana wont respect Paulies power and would walk through him to stop in around the 9th or 10th round through a broken jaw and a few knockdowns

If you want a good equal fight then put Maidana in with his mandatory Kieth Thurman who did just as well if not better against Soto Karass.

But what is likely we will see :

Maidana V Malignaggi - WBA Welterweight title
Thurman V Lopez - WBA Interim

Gives Maidana an easy first defence and builds up Thurman a little more until they fight later in 2014 . . . . but who knows, Maidana might actually get that date with Floyd Mayweather despite the Khan rumours

Mayweather is talking about Manny losing his last 2 out of 3 (last 2/3 out of four if you count Marquez 3 / Bradley) so why does Khan get a shot after losing to Peterson, Garcia and struggling vs two unranked fighters?

Remember Mayweather was going to fight Alexander only to 360 and take on Guerrero/Alvarez so im not taking these Khan rumours too seriously (although its still entirely possible)

In my eyes it makes sense money wise :

Maidana is coming off an "upset" win in what would be a possible unification (WBA/WBC) between the p4p King and the guy who beat down the apparent heir to the thrown despite the loss to Khan Maidana has proved he is a tough rugged fighter who may have figured out Mayweathers blueprint through fighting Broner

(Of course in reality Broner is no Mayweather and Maidana would get dominated by Floyd)

This gives Khan a chace to build himself back up by fighting someone like Kell Brook/Shaun Porter to pick up a strap or get a big domestic fight to raise his profile and fight Mayweather next

Thus of course leaving Mayweather to lowball a desperate Pacquiao in what would be Mayweathers last fight in which he could avoid in favour of Erislandy Lara who could fight Alvarez/Molina in the meantime to build himself up Star wise

Who knows what will happen, lets just wait and see

I agree, Judah was able to do well but he wilts in fights. Malignaggi will stick it out to the bitter end . . . hence how he beat Judah

But saying Fighter A beats Fighter B because Fighter B lost to Fighter C and fighter C lost to fighter A.

But to say Garcia cant beat Malignaggi is tempting fate just a bit, dont forget Garcia out Judah down, Judah put Paulie down . . . . its an interesting fight though and would love to see it along with Maidana V Mathysse
