    You keep mentioning Diaz losing bad last time out.......when Malignaggi had a real fight last time out he lost bad too.
    Difference is Diaz doesn't take a soft touch ever.

    haha damn chill, first off I dont bet online, i bet real cash, small amount on paulie for this fight, and its a FACT diaz is a fat little lightweight kid.

    if diaz beats his ass, more power to him great win, because i think paulie is underrated, paulie didnt show up mentally for the hatton fight, and i will admit iwas wrong about diaz.

    no i think paulie at the moment is a top 10 140 fighter until proven otherwise.

    I agree,he is.
    Diaz is a top 5 LW atm IMO.
    How does any of these say who is overrated and who is not?

    yes, but i think if you put him in with most of the top 10 guys at 140 he loses....and at 135, he is a good fighter, but i dont think he will ever be an elite guy, like some think, and i thought marquez exposed him a bit more so then nate campbell, it showed diaz has crap as far as boxing skills once you take away the pressure...like manny siad doing the commentating, diaz doesnt know what to do when he is hurt or faces adversity....if paulie can befuddle him ,like he did ndou in there first meeting, paulie can seriously take this.

    Nothing Malignaggi can do will hurt him.
    And depends what you think ''most of the guys''.
    I think Diaz would do just fine with Kotelnik,Holt,Bradley,Urango,Guzman,Bailey,etc.
    And lightweight is a beter division that junior weltwerweight anyway.

    thats true, i think valero sparks out diaz with ease....IMO valero is the best lightweight, but the rankings dont say it.....and i also think with the crop and rankings of the divsion the jr. welter is a bit more exciting.....kahn-kotelnik, hatton-pac was entertaining while it lasted, holt-bradley was good too......lightweight has a old casamayor and david diaz as top 2 and 3 in that division.....but of course this is all subjective to the viewer.

    Nobody has David Diaz as a top 3 LW.
    Valero is somewhat unproven,what happens when somebody can take his shot?
    FOTY JMM vs Diaz was at LW as plenty of another good ones.
