I know a professional boxer and MMA fighter who has had blood withdrawn the day of his fights.

    Court McGee.

    He's 2-0 in boxing and 19-1 MMA.

That's simply untrue. Team Mayweather requested that the tests be administered by the USADA. The USADA said they wouldn't test within 48 hrs. of the fight. Once Team Pac expressed concerns about the testing being to close to the fight, Team Mayweather said they were amendable to the cutoff date. Pacquiao himself said he didn't want blood drawn within a couple of days of the fight because he believes it will weaken him.(totally understandable). He then came back and said he wouldn't test within 30 days. This of course makes no sense, especially given the fact that he's had blood drawn within 30 days of a fight on numerous occasions.

Malignaggi is just being honest. Anyone who opposes his stance is an idiot. No one can make a sensible argument towards why he is wrong. The guy makes the same valid points that we've heard countless times.

they said they were amendable to the cutoff date but never actually proposed one. Pac stepped up to the plate and proposed a 30 day cutoff date, which is already a compromise from his original stance. The Floyd camp said that was too much, but never proposed what kind of date they were looking for. If its 48hours, something i don't remember the USADA saying, its still very close to the fight. A long long way from the 30 days Pac proposed and I'm sure also from the day Malignaggi had his blood tests taken.

    True, team Mayweather requested USADA.

False, USADA can't/would not amend their policy to give a guarantee to not test Pacquiao within 48 hours of the fight.

The 30 day open window was from a statement by ARUM. Arum also added in that, they would be open to whaever NSAC orders if they are doing the testing.

USADA already stated they don't do testing 48 hours before a sporting event. Freddie Roach said they wouldn't guarantee that, not USADA. Should we listen to USADA or Freddie Roach?

NSAC and/or other commissions should amend their rules before administering tests aside from the usual tests. Hey, if they do it on Pac-May fight, they should do it to other fights. If it's on the rules of NSAC, Pac, PBF or any fighter is bound to abide it, plain and simple.
