Personally think Paulie should have stayed retired, but it makes sense with the fight being in NY. O Connor is know to bring lots of fans from Boston too.
This fight should be in Boston on the DeGale v Dirrell undercard, imo. They have Danny Jacobs fighting in Chicago on Friday though, so wtf do i know
I knew he'd come back for another fight. As a big fan I'm glad it's not against a tough threat and I still hope he either retires up next or no more than one minor step up for a final fight. No more serious contenders for Paulie, in my opinion. At least O'Connor has a gaudy record for a tune up (shrugs). Could have been worse. If I were going to see the card in person, this would be a huge bonus to hear.
Decent comeback fight... O'Conner has a decent looking record if not spectacular so if paulie has some magic left you would think he could box to a win...But he's not a young guy so maybe O'Conner catches up with him decent little fight
I dont think Paulie has gone drastically back with the Porter fight. Just a bad match for him. I like this fight I think theres still a few decent fighters Paulie can beat needs to get going again, one or two of these kind of fights then getting a right match.Looked at O connor hes a bit like Malignaggi hes decent but Paulie wil take it. What kind of odds would anyone expect 1-7 terriotory?
