Paulie Malignaggi ''Devin Haney is me, but with money behind him''

Paulie not only picked Haney to destroy Garcia, he denigrated Garcia in the process. Paulie trying to make a big deal out of three pounds when Haney weighs over 160 in his fights, and Ryan weighed 143 with a full bottle, long pants, and shoes on. Paulie still had a hard time giving Garcia his well deserved props.

 

That's what I was gonna say steady on Paulie you had a chin.

 

Paulie was faster of hand and foot and far more durable than Haney is. Haney also wouldn't have beaten anyone Paulie lost to and a couple wins Paulie has I don't think Haney would have, for instance I don't think Haney would have beaten Zab or Juan Diaz, he'd also have been in serious danger of getting clipped by Lovemore N'dou (who could be outboxed but you had to be very sturdy to survive some of his incoming)

 

Malignaggi is an egotistical little feret

 

Devin's combo of not having a great chin and having little power is just a killer. He's got some pretty good skills and speed but it won't cut it against elite punchers.

 

Haney did say some racist **** so I can't blame Paulie too much.

 

Prograis is overrated and limited. Don´t get me wrong, he is a solid world class boxer but at 140lbs. If Malignaggi can beat Ndou and Diaz then he can beat someone like Prograis.
Linares was way pas his best. He was 35 at the time and went on to end his career on a 4 fight losing streak. Not to mention the surprise loss to Cano and subsequent poor performances vs Al Toyogon and Carlos Morales.

 

Just like Haney, Paulie also got gift wins. One against Hernan Ngoujo and Ndou Lovemore.

 

Agreed he was overrated. I don’t really rate that Ndou win but the Diaz win was def his best win.

I don’t see him dominating Prograis the way Haney did. Paulie was never on Haneys level imo. And their styles aren’t even similar besides being pillow fisted, Paulie threw volume and combos.

 

If I'm Haney right now, hearing this would be the ultimate humiliation.

As flawed as Haney is, he better than Malignaggi.

 

Wait a minute Paulie has a much better resume. He gave Cotto all he could handle at 140lbs. He beat 3 belt unified lightweight champion Juan Diaz convincingly and was robbed the first time. He beat Senchenko for the welterweight title. Got robbed vs Broner. Beat Zab Judah.

Much better resume than Haney.

 

He didn’t beat Broner, he beat an old ass Zab who had done nothing in recent times and who the **** has Senchenko beat lmfao. And ur trying to give him credit for getting destroyed by Cotto? Please.
